Owner of Just Bead It Robyn Aim is a self confessed bead addict and a former primary school teacher. She is supported by a dedicated team of staff including Pete, Lyn and Amy.

Hi I’m Robyn and I’d like to tell you about how I got into the ‘bead
business’. I was in Nelson in 2002 visiting friends when we came across
‘The bead Gallery’. From that moment on I was mesmorised by the beads. A
little while later, I opened a shop in Hamilton East and in 2010 I
still have a passion for jewellery making and a love of ‘beads’, which I
happily pass on to all who venture into our shop at ‘Just bead it’.
Since the beginning we have offered a range of services including adult
classes, birthday parties, school holiday programmes, group bookings and
repairs. We have a huge variety of beads sourced from all over the
world, catering for all tastes. I have always enjoyed craft work, and
come from a teaching background. I manage all facets of the business and
enjoy the challenge it creates.
We are a small, happy team and most ably supported by Lyn, our stock
control “guru” . Lyn began taking classes with us 2 years ago and was
subsequently bitten by the beading bug too. She came to us from
Spotlight having had many years retail experience, and now provides
valuable advice and guidance to all our customers.

Amy is our colourful and youthful “bead addict” and is mad about semi
precious stones! She is great with childrens parties and works Saturdays
while during the week she is at University. She has been with us for
over 18 months.
Our aim is to provide a good range of quality products backed up by a great service to all our customers.
